Prompt: Select one learning objective or one component of a learning objective. How have you learned it? How have you developed in this area so far this semester?

The learning objective I chose is to Develop strategies for reading, drafting, collaborating, revising, and editing. For reading, I’ve focused on summarizing key highlighted parts, which has really helped me grasp the main ideas quickly and retain them better. When it comes to drafting, I make sure to answer each part of the assignment clearly, so I know that I’m on track and fully answering the requirements correctly.

In collaboration, I’ve made it a point to stay in touch with my peers so we’re all aligned and can support each other if any of us have questions. Peer review has also been essential in my revising and editing process; getting feedback from others provides a new perspective on my work that I wouldn’t have otherwise, and I plan to keep using this strategy to improve my drafts.
