One of the first assignments we had to do for this class was to create 3 vignettes on different learning experiences that we’ve had in life.

3 Vignettes:

For the assignment where we had to create the vignettes, I had misinterpreted the prompt and thought of 3 different experiences that taught me the same lesson. The lesson I learned from these experiences was Indepenence. In each of the 3 vignettes I made, I talked about how I went through an experience all by myself, and ended up succeeding, or finding out that it wasn’t as bad as I thought.

Creating the vignettes taught me creative writing strategies. Even though the stories were non-fiction since they actually happened, I thought of the experiences in a third person point of view, which I believe was better for the vignette aspect of it. From this I now know how to think deeper on past experiences I’ve had, and know how to express them to others.
