Peer Review

Here is my peer-reviewed best draft. In class, we were asked to pass our printed best drafts to a peer, and we would review each other’s work. Our main goal was to provide feedback that would be useful in improving our essays without being unclear.

My peer who reviewed my paper gave me very useful feedback. When writing my essay, I didn’t fully have in mind the impact on how I learned from each of my learning experiences. My peer pointed out that my learning experiences did not have to be in 3rd person. They also mentioned throughout my draft that I didn’t fully explain how I learned from these experiences.

From this feedback, I went back to my essay and made some important changes. I shortened the learning experiences I had, along with changing 2 of the learning experiences to other experiences that I had that were all different. I also focused on analyzing not only the ways that I learned from these experiences but also the residual impacts that they have on me today. All of this culminated in my final draft.
